Medical City North Hills is among the top five percent of hospitals for patient safety according to Healthgrades, the leading online resource for information about physicians and hospitals.

The Healthgrades 2018 Patient Safety Excellence Award™ recognizes the top hospitals in short-term acute care. While the award includes the nation’s top 10 percent in patient safety criteria, Medical City North Hills was noted for being in the upper five percent of hospitals.

“This is a great honor and it is indicative of the focus and dedication to providing the highest quality care to our patients,” said Xavier Villarreal, CEO of Medical City North Hills. “It underscores our commitment to the care and improvement of human life.”

Hospitals were evaluated in 13 patient safety indicators in the survey.
